The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region III, also known as Central Luzon, comprises seven (7) provinces and thirteen (13) cities under our administrative jurisdiction. The provinces include Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales. Of the thirteen cities, two (2) are classified as Highly Urbanized Cities—Angeles City in Pampanga and Olongapo City in Zambales—while eleven (11) are Component Cities.
The region consists of twenty (20) congressional districts, one hundred seventeen (117) municipalities, and three thousand one hundred two (3,102) barangays, reflecting its extensive administrative coverage and diverse local governance structure.
Across Central Luzon, various strategies are implemented to maintain peace and order. These include sustained anti-crime operations, intensified checkpoint activities, increased police visibility, and the establishment of specialized task forces to address specific criminal concerns such as carnapping. Through these coordinated initiatives, the region continues to promote public safety, good governance, and community security.
